Corrections and Clarifications — June 18, 2026

In a report (Front page, June 17), “India stares at 35% rain deficit amid El Niño trail”, a sentence in the last paragraph should have said: “... analysts are more cautious and have said that a serious farm disruption could add to retail food inflation, a risk that even the Reserve Bank of India has flagged.”
