Kottayam Medical College Hospital gets ₹47 lakh

The Central Warehousing Corporation has sanctioned ₹47 Lakh from its corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund for the Golden Hour initiative aimed at strengthening emergency health-care services at Kottayam Government Medical College Hospital.

Ettumanur legislator Nattakom Suresh, along with the District Collector Chetan Kumar Meena, received the first instalment of ₹47.08 lakh at a function held here on Thursday. The Golden Hour initiative at the medical college, prepared by ASAP Kerala, aims to strengthen emergency health-care services by equipping the Emergency department with modern medical equipment and other essential facilities.
