Terming India a “land of opportunities,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the country is undergoing an unprecedented transformation and its aspirations are “no longer limited to its borders”.
Addressing the Indian community in The Hague, the Prime Minister also said India is dreaming big and its youth aspires to reach the sky.
“Today India is saying we don’t just want transformation, we want the best, we want the fastest. That is why when there are unlimited aspirations in India, the efforts are also becoming limitless,” he said in his over 40-minute speech, amid applause from the audience.
“Today’s India is going through a phase of unprecedented transformation,” the Prime Minister said. “You must have seen recently that India hosted the world’s largest and most successful AI Summit. Before that, India also successfully hosted the G20 Summit. And this was not a one-time event. This has now become the character of today’s India.” Mr. Modi praised India’s start-up ecosystem, saying India has the third-largest start-up network in the world. - PTI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday was graced by an enthusiastic welcome by the Indian community, as well as various cultural performances in The Hague.
PM Modi shared heartfelt moments with the Indian community and witnessed a cultural and classical performance after he arrived at the hotel.
An artist, Gautam, who performed in front of PM Modi, expressed happiness upon his interaction. “We performed Garba to welcome PM Modi. We interacted with him, and we are all very happy,” he told ANI.
Another artist, Reema described the experience as “amazing” and said, “We are all feeling very happy to perform in front of PM Modi...The entire experience was amazing.”

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, in a social media post, said the visit would provide an “opportunity to further strengthen the multifaceted India-Netherlands partnership and to engage with the largest Indian diaspora on mainland Europe”.
MEA officials said the visit carries a “rich and substantive agenda” and is expected to consolidate the strategic dimensions of the partnership that have emerged through sustained engagement between the two countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Netherlands on Friday, May 15, on the second leg of his five-nation tour, during which he will hold talks with his Dutch counterpart Rob Jetten to further deepen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, technology, defence and renewable energy.
Mr. Modi was received at the airport by Rear Admiral Ludger Brummelaar, Adjutant-General and Chief of the Military Household of His Majesty the King; Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen; and India’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Kumar Tuhin, along with other senior officials of the Dutch Government.
“Landed in Amsterdam. This visit to the Netherlands comes at a time when India-E.U. Free Trade Agreement has given a major impetus to trade and investment linkages,” the Prime Minister said in a social media post soon after his arrival.
